Founded in 2003, the Institute of Budo Studies is dedicated to the authentic transmission of Japanese swordsmanship. Through the integrated practice of kendo, iaido, and kobudo, students gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of traditional martial arts. Training is not limited to technique alone — it emphasizes the unification of mind, body, and spirit, fostering discipline, character, and a profound sense of respect.
This ongoing journey of self-cultivation transforms martial practice into a path of personal growth. Over time, the values developed through budo extend beyond the dojo, enriching the individual and contributing to a more harmonious and conscientious society.
For more than two decades, the Institute has cultivated strong relationships with leading instructors in Japan, ensuring that its teachings remain rooted in tradition while evolving in step with global standards and cultural exchange.
